Carrion Crown Chapt. 1

With Bill in the doorway, Spring waits for Bill to make his move either in the room, or out of the room to bring them to us.

Fuck spiders!

Bill backs out of the room and draws his weapons.

Spring draws his hooked-hammer, blunt end on top.

That's one way to put it Bill, let us crush these abominations of nature!

Spring moves to the other side of the door, so all exiting spiders must pass between Bill and himself. He prepares the hooked-hammer like a baseball bat, waiting for the first spider to move in to place, he holds his action as he prepares to smash the first spider out in to pieces.

Bill follows Spring's lead and takes up station on the other side of the door

Held action, attack the first thing that comes through the door.

You hear a lot of scuttling and scraping and two black furry pincery heads emerge from the sides of the door as the spiders come through left side high right side low.

(they are coming through from walking on the walls so they are not on the ground. act as you will)

A step the left and slide to the right, then a sword in a spiders face and a dagger in its thorax.
It's like the time warp...

Sword: 15 + 6 = 21 Dmg: 6+3=9
Dagger: 19 Crit threat. Nat 20 to confirm. 9+6= 15 to confirm second crit.

Max possible damage for dagger is 7, so double max would be 14, but that is a double crit, so I dunno how you wanna do it.

Spring swings the hammer with force, trying to put the head of the hammer through the spider and in contact with the wall as if there was a nail that needed assistance.

14 to hit, 3 damage

Bills sword fully cleaves through the head of the spider while his dagger is stabbed with so much force that his while hand punches into the body. The spider starts to twitch in is death throws while on the other side of the door springs hammer slams into the door frame when the spider stops short. After the hammer swings past the spider lunges at Spring and bites him on his outstretched arm.

poisoned: 1str damage per round dc13 save

15 on the die save.

Spring pulls the hammer back, ignoring the stinging of his arm. He bring the hammer around and then down upon the second spider still on the wall, hoping the force of the hit will knock the spider to the ground.

13 to hit, 6 damage if hit.

The hammer blow obliterates a small section of the door frame again. The third spider is not in sight.

Pending Bill's action

Bill, upon seeing Spring bitten by the spider, rushes to aide him. Being as Spring is about 4 feet away from him, this translates into just swinging at the spider with his pointy metal bits.

Sword: 11+6-2=15 DMG: 2+3=5
Dagger: Nat 20 Confirm: 10+6-2=14 DMG:4+3=7

The second spider falls to the dagger blow as the blade slides in the back of its neck and severs the brain stem. There is a scuttling noise from the high side of the door but nothing appears. Through the door you can see a cabnet that looks to have some vials and other useful things inside that can be seen through the partially opened door.

Bill carefully enters the room, making sure to check the ceiling and walls for more spiders.

Perception:16+9=25

As Bill steps through the door he sees the last spider dropping down on him. He easily side steps the attack and the spider hits the ground with its back to the door facing Bill who is 2 steps inside the door.

Sword n' Dagger Style: Stabbity Death!

Dagger: 14+6-2=18 DMG: 3+3=6

Spring takes the opportunity to swing at the spider, striking downwards with the hammerhead.

19 to hit, 1 damage

The hammer connects with the spider bouncing it off of the ground and successfully pissing it off. The dagger punctures through the spider dealing significant damage but it still seems to be able to move. It tries to bite Bill but fails to get its pincers high enough to catch his forearm.

The dagger stabs into the creatures head and finishes the job.
